WELCOME TO 2026: AN EXCITING SEASON OF ART THAT REVOLTS AGAINST.
Bảy Tám Năm is a solo exhibition by Bùi Chát at CON ART Gallery (4–28 Feb 2026), inaugurating the Gallery’s 2026 programme. The project places painting under a deadline: using a special solvent mixed into pigment, each work is programmed to fade over time and return to a white canvas after seven to eight years. Suspended between beauty and disappearance, the exhibition invites viewers to remain with the moment—an ethics of courage in which value lies not in permanent possession, but in the act of seeing and remembering.

9 People in May brings together nine artists from diverse creative practices and artistic discourses — ranging from painting, poetry, photography to filmmaking. Rather than proposing a unified theme or manifesto, the exhibition creates a space for encounter and dialogue, where painting becomes a language to express memory, emotional states, and personal responses to contemporary life. Through the diversity of materials and approaches, the exhibition reflects the openness, connectivity, and evolving spirit of contemporary Vietnamese art today.
